Product Description:
The thickener equipment is consist of cycle tank, rake and drive unit. The bottom of thickener is sloping cone, slope degree: 6°～12°. Normally, the tank is make by concrete, diameter is small, which can also use steel plate. Overflow chute is on the internal side of wall of tank. The vertical column in the center of tank is connected with rake device, which is consisted with rake arm, rake blade and fasten rods. Two rake rams vertical a cross. In order to discharge the settling product on the tank bottom completely, the rake blade mount on the ram with 30° sloping degree. Vertical column is on the inside hole of screw gear. Due to the location function of connecting key, the vertical column only move up and down along the screw gear shaft.

Thickener is a type of solid-liquid separation equipment that adopts gravitation and settlement principle of solid particle. It can achieve continuous concentration and clarification of slurry.
Working Principle:
During the thickening process, particles suspended in slurry is settled under the gravity force. At the settlement moment, the particles sink at acceleration by gravity function. After that, due to the water resistant, the acceleration of particle reduced, till the resistant force is same with particle gravity. Then the gravity keeps a constant settlement rate, which is called the final settling velocity.
If the density of thicken slurry is small, it can ignore the collision and interreference between particles during settlement process. We call this free settling.
If the density of thicken slurry is big, the mechanical resistant between particles during settlement process will be big. We call this interreference settling.
The settling speed of free settling is fast than interreference one.
During the continuous thickening equipment, the settlement and concentration can be divided into clarifying section, settling section, pressing section and squeezing section.
Due to the difference between feeding and drainage, the dynamic balancing status is destroyed, the height of sections changed. To ensure the thickening process operating smoothly, the height of clarifying section: ≥ 0.2~0.3m, height of settling section: ≥ 0.3~0.5m,
